Rotterdam will start with Newcomer Education for students aged 4 to 12 years. With this education, students from Ukraine learn the Dutch language and become acquainted with the Dutch culture.
Newcomer education has been supplemented with Ukrainian education. This combined form of education enables students to develop in both Dutch and Ukrainian education.
Pupils who have successfully completed Newcomer Education, continue after about a year to a Dutch primary school of their choice.
